Major: Sociology Interests: singing, reading, drawing, exploring new places with friends Reason for joining BAR: Because I’ve grown up in LA my whole life, I’ve been exposed to the growing homelessness issue and have always wanted to make a positive impact in my community. Joining BAR will help me do that by helping make resources readily available and shed light and bring awareness on the topic of homelessness in Westwood and beyond. |

Major: Psychobiology Interests: playing piano, watching movies, painting, writing, going to concerts Reason for joining BAR: Although Westwood may seem like an affluent area, there is not enough emphasis toward helping the homeless community there. I joined BAR to help organize resources for the growing number of homeless and also to bring more awareness to this issue in the Westwood community. |
